Charmed Life Blonde is an engineering thermoplastic from the ketone family that has been used for decades in the aerospace, defense, petroleum and medical fields. It is extruded at extremely high temperatures, yielding a material with mechanical properties more akin to metal than plastic, and far superior to Delrin, Nylon or Celluloid. 
 
In addition to moving quietly across the strings, CL Blonde is robust, assertive, sleek and fast, making it ideal for strong rhythm playing and especially acoustic leads in an ensemble setting. It has a bit more "bite" than Torlon, polyimide, PEI or any of the other leading boutique polymers. This is because its molecular profile -- unique to engineering plastics -- is a "crystalline" structure and has nothing in common with other plastics. 
 
Standard teardrop 351 shape at 1.0 mm, with right-handed speed bevel. .75 mm comes only with round edges.
